As a lover of life, I try to capture the beauty around us with my cameras. This allows me to never forget a little sliver of what I am so lucky to have experienced. This enthusiasm for photography provides me with the incentive to explore and to enjoy the opportunities available to each of us.

Born and raised in St. Louis with mid-west values and a love for the outdoors. A large percentage of my fine art photography is activities, wild life and scenery that cannot be capture from sitting at a desk. It does not matter if it is 100+ degrees or snow on the ground. There are images around us to be preserved and enjoyed for years to come.

My passion started many years ago with film including black & white, color images and color slides. With the improvements in digital technology, I am now using exclusively digital equipment. My years with film taught me how to capture an image correctly through the lens, without a lot time in the darkroom. Still today, I strive to do it right from the beginning and not manipulate the photos later on the computer.

To get the most stunning images, the quality must be there from the start.
